Quality policy
Security and Defense Technologies Center of the Gdańsk University of Technology provides its customers with reliability and professionalism in the field of new developments, manufactured products and technologies through a continuous process of innovation and improvement in the areas of technical elaboration, their quality, flexibility of solutions, speed of implementation and cost optimization. CTBO guarantees this thanks to the ongoing cooperation with research teams of the Gdańsk University of Technology as well as extensive experience in the implementation of works within the scope of its activity.
The following are of particular importance in the activities of Security and Defense Technologies Center:
- implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS based on the PN-EN ISO / IEC 9001: 2015 and AQAP 2110: 2016 standards, as well as the obligation to meet legal and other requirements, including own and customers' requirements,
- getting to know, creating and meeting the needs and expectations of customers at all stages of cooperation,
- obtaining complete compliance of the quality of the delivered products with the standards,
- continuous improvement of the quality of manufactured products,
- implementation of an effective and efficient development policy of the Center in the organizational and technological level,
- betterment of human potential.
The quality policy is the basis for the maintenance and development of the quality management system and the achievement of goals. The assumptions of the quality policy are known and respected by all Center employees and employees of departmental teams, working in cooperation with Security and Defense Technologies Center, implementing activities covered by this policy.
The adequacy of the quality policy and the quality management system is maintained through the use of periodic reviews and planning activities.
WSK quality policy
Security and Defense Technologies Center at the Gdańsk University of Technology ensures that all activities related to foreign trade in goods, technologies and services of strategic importance for state security are undertaken in accordance with the Act of November 29, 2000 on foreign trade in goods, technologies and services of strategic importance for the security of the state, as well as for the maintenance of international peace and security (Journal of Laws of 2000 No. 119 item 1250, i.e. Journal of Laws of 2019 item 953), PN-EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard and Council Regulation (EC) No. 428/2009 of 5 May 2009 establishing a Community regime for the control of exports, transfers, brokering and transit of dual-use items.
No cooperation is undertaken with foreign contractors involved in the dissemination of weapons of mass destruction.
The possibility of making a profit against the law and policy of the Republic of Poland and the European Union regarding foreign trade in goods, technologies and services of strategic importance is excluded.
Security and Defense Technologies Center of the Gdańsk University of Technology, at the request of the authorized supervisory authorities, provides access to all records regarding the trade in goods, technologies and services of strategic importance and fulfills the recommendations and orders resulting from the supervision.
The principles of foreign trade in goods, technologies and services of strategic importance, in accordance with applicable law and internal procedures, are known and respected by all employees involved in the implementation of foreign contracts. Disciplinary and criminal penalties provided for by law are applied in the event of breach by employees of the provisions relating to the rules of trading in strategically important goods, technologies and services.
The director appointed the Representative for the Quality System and Trade Control and defined his responsibilities and permissions.
The Internal Control System is constantly improved.
